As terrifying as it sounds, she has discovered many wonderful blessings along the way. Please be sure to check out her amazing blog as well as her Facebook Page.

Thank you, Ramae, for thinking of me and awarding this honor to my blog.

What is a Mystery Blogger Award?

Okoto Enigma created the Mystery Blogger Award. You can read more about the award here, but this is how she describes it:

3 Random Facts About Me

  1. I was born in Minsk, Belarus and came to the United States in 2005 when I was 19. All by myself, without any family or friends. It was a long and hard struggle before I could really stand on my feet and live the normal life of an American person.
  2. I have an allergy on the snow. Every time it is about to snow, I start sneezing and itching.
  3. I studied psychology back in my home country and that remains one of the most interesting subjects for me.

Answers to Ramae’s Questions

  1. What is the story behind the name of your blog? – Before I opened LivingYogiLife.com I had 2 other blogs started, but they never actually went live in public. “Living Yogi Life” came to me when I was trying to find a name for my personal Instagram account. But I also checked the availability for the domain name and it was right there waiting for me. So I knew at that moment that something big is about to come with this.
  2. If you could do it over again, is there anything you would do differently with your blog? – No. I would not change a thing. A lot of times I asked myself if that was the right decision to choose a yogi lifestyle to write about, but every time the answer was Yes.
  3. What energizes and inspires you in life the most? – My family, especially my parents and my husband David. They are my biggest inspiration. And exercise has always worked the best for me to stay energized. If I don’t do yoga, I run, if I don’t run, I lift weights.
  4. What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? – “You become what you believe” – Sri Dharma Mittra
  5. Who was your favorite teacher, and why? – Without a doubt, Sri Dharma Mittra. He was the one to open my mind towards answers that kept turning in my head since I was a kid.

My Favorite Blog Post

So far my favorite blog post is about my teacher “World’s most influential Yoga Master – Sri Dharma Mittra”
